The Almighty God’ is one of the ways we address, praise and worship God. It’s always been one of my favorite titles of God because it speaks to His mighty power over all things. Think of any Super power you know. No matter how much might or force that power has, our God’s Power is mightier.  

That’s why He is ALL mighty. His might trumps all others. All other powers bow to the Power of our God. And it is this God you call Daddy. It is this God that you have come here to meet today. It is this God who is here eager to meet with us. I find this to be just extraordinary. Free access to the God of gods. When just to watch ‘Wakanda’ yesterday, I had to queue and pay! May God open our hearts to understand the awesome privilege we have in Christ Jesus! 

But you know what excites me even more?  It’s that even though we tend to think of the ‘power of God’ whenever we hail Him as the Almighty God, it’s way more than that. For me, God is not just mighty in power to rule and fight, our Papa God is mighty in ALL ways! 

Yes! He is Mighty in Goodness! He is Mighty in Justice! He is Mighty in Patience! In Kindness! Tenderness! Compassion! Mercies! He is Mighty in Faithfulness! His Generosity is Powerful! How mighty is His ability to reverse the irreversible! Change the unchangeable! He is Mighty in wisdom! And I could go on and on! 

Oh my dear Sister, doesn’t this make you want to get up and dance right now? You are right here, right now in the presence of The I AM that I AM that has ALL the power to give you your heart’s desires and nothing can stand in His way. 

Actually, someone can. Do you know who? Just one person. Yes. You. 

And that brings me to my favorite attributes of God. It’s my most treasured view of God because it’s the side of Him I feel the mightiest every single moment of my life. God as Love. Yes, our God is Mighty in Love. It’s His love that has chased me relentlessly all my life saving me from myself and ensuring that I don’t block myself from experiencing his mighty power  in all areas of my life. Today, I pray you won’t let you block yourself! 

Open yourself up to your Almighty God. Don’t hold any area of your life back. Present all of you to your King and Daddy and invite Him to have his way. He is Mighty in showing, demonstrating and being Love! He does not do condemnation so any voice you are hearing trying to make you feel guilty or ashamed, tell it to shut up! 

Focus on hearing God instead. That’s the voice beckoning on you to come be hugged. The one saying “this is your moment. Seize it.” Ask Him to overshadow you right in that seat with all of His Powerful and Mighty Love. You will not leave this place the way you came in. I promise you. 

All of God is experienced through His Love. All He does is because He loves us. I pray you come to a new understanding of God’s Love for you today.  For me, that’s how we enter into every other manifestations of all His other mighty powers. 

Yes, it all begins with God’s Almighty Love.
